In this role, you will carry out routine tasks to aid and support the smooth running of the day-to-day activities of the laboratory including waste management and stock control, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference. Your responsibilities in this role would be: Carrying out the timely removal and decontamination of clinical waste from the laboratory suites ensuring a compliant working environment. Preparing and maintaining disinfectant solutions to the correct concentration appropriate for use. Collecting and cleaning used laboratory glassware and general laboratory items. Maintaining consumable stock levels for the laboratories. Regular cleaning of the laboratories and associated equipment Ensuring clear concise information is passed onto team members.
