Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Laboratory Specialist to support Quality Assurance activities within a regulated laboratory environment. This role will involve assisting with HPLC-based analysis, stability studies, and routine laboratory testing, while ensuring work is completed in line with quality standards and procedures.\n\nYou will work closely with cross-functional teams including Microbiology, Quality, and Manufacturing, gaining valuable experience in a highly collaborative setting.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Support analytical chemistry testing using HPLC, chromatography, and other laboratory techniques.\n\n * Assist with method development, validation, and transfer activities under supervision.\n\n * Contribute to stability studies and shelf-life assessments.\n\n * Carry out routine analysis and support release testing for manufacturing.\n\n * Maintain accurate documentation in line with cGMP and data integrity requirements.\n\n * Help review analytical data and identify trends.\n\n * Support investigations into out-of-specification (OOS) results and contribute to root cause analysis and CAPA activities.\n\n * Assist with troubleshooting analytical methods and laboratory instrumentation.\n\n * Work collaboratively with colleagues across Quality, Manufacturing, and Microbiology.\n\n * Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory processes and workflows.\n\nRequirements\n\n * Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific field.\n\n * Placement year, , or some laboratory experience in an analytical, QC, or QA environment is desirable.\n\n * Basic understanding of HPLC and analytical laboratory instrumentation.\n\n * Awareness of method validation and stability studies is beneficial.\n\n * Understanding of cGMP, quality systems, or regulated environments would be an advantage.\n\nSkills\n\n * Good data analysis and interpretation skills.\n\n * Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.\n\n * Good problem-solving and organisational skills.\n\n * Clear written and verbal communication skills.\n\n * Ability to work effectively as part of a team.\n\nCareer Development\n\nThis role provides structured training and mentorship, offering an excellent opportunity to develop skills in quality assurance, Chemistry, laboratory validation, and regulatory compliance within the life sciences industry
