Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant, to join a global Consumer Healthcare company who are based in Newcastle, on a contract basis for 3 months initially.

Our client is a global consumer healthcare business with well known household brands.

The role is based in Newcastle.

Role:

• Weighing product and making solutions.
• Preparation and testing of formulations, including preparation of products for consumer tests.
• Physical and chemical analysis of formulations/products.
• Summarizing, reporting and communicating data findings and results, using Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint/Word.
• Performing large or small scale performance tests following defined test methods.
• General housekeeping and ensuring labs are kept appropriately according to operating procedures.
• Running mechanical equipment and computer activated test methods.

Your Background:

• Educated to ideally BSc level in a life sciences field.
• Laboratory experience in a similar role in industry.
• Experience with a range of laboratory testing and analytical techniques.
• Experience of working with products in the consumer healthcare industry.
