Academics are working in partnership with multiple welcoming primary schools across Sheffield who require Key Stage 2 specialists to cover classes across Years 3-6 on a flexible supply basis. These roles offer choice, variety and consistent work for the right teacher.
Position: KS2 Supply Teacher
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Part-time or full-time, temporary ongoing (flexible supply)
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date to suit your availability
About the Role
As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you will teach across Years 3 to 6, supporting pupils through key curriculum areas including reading, writing, numeracy and preparation for SATs. You will work in supportive schools that value strong communication, positive behaviour approaches and quality teaching.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and inclusive KS2 lessons across a range of subjects
* Encourage pupil progress and independence
* Differentiate work to support mixed abilities
* Mark work and provide age-appropriate feedback where required
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
* Uphold high standards of behaviour and safeguarding practice
Candidate Requirements
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔ Experience teaching in KS2 (Year 3-6)
✔ Strong behaviour and classroom management
✔ Reliable, adaptable and confident in new settings
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
