Teach Now is thrilled to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barking and Dagenham, seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

About the Role

This is a part-time, temporary position ideal for an experienced teacher or a confident ECT (Early Career Teacher) who is eager to inspire and support young learners. You’ll be working in a forward-thinking school with a strong sense of community and a leadership team that prioritises professional development, wellbeing, and innovative teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons aligned with the KS1 national curriculum

• Foster a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment

• Track pupil progress and tailor learning to individual needs

• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support pupil development

• Uphold the school’s behaviour policy and values

Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

• Proven or developing experience teaching Key Stage 1 pupils

• A positive, proactive, and reflective teaching approach

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
