ANZUK Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wimbledon seeking a KS1 & KS2 Classroom Teacher to join their team from an immediate start. This full-time position offers the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils to achieve strong academic progress within a well-structured and supportive environment.
The school is known for its clear behaviour systems and collaborative planning approach, creating an environment where teachers can focus on delivering high-quality teaching and achieving strong pupil outcomes.
This KS1 & KS2 Classroom Teacher role in Wimbledon would suit experienced teachers, ECTs, or Upper and Lower Key Stage practitioners looking to develop their experience across the primary phases.
Key Responsibilities of KS1 & KS2 Classroom Teacher:
Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils across KS1 and KS2.
Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour.
Support pupils’ social, emotional and personal development.
Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress effectively.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (non-negotiable).
Be a confident ECT or experienced teacher across KS1 and/or KS2.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, attainment and behaviour.
Show a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and families.
