Kitchen Porter Tresco Island Live In We're on the lookout for enthusiastic Kitchen Porters/assistants, excited to join our friendly teams on Tresco Island & our award winning, 3 AA rosette Hell Bay Hotel on the beautiful island of Bryher for our 2025 season. Join our team for the 2025 season, with live-in hospitality and housekeeping opportunities for couples and friends on Tresco Island and at Hell Bay Hotel in the beautiful Isles of Scilly. Department: Tresco Island & Hell Bay Hotel Salary: From £12.25 per hour, dependent on experience Benefits: Tips, meals and accommodation Hours: Full Time, 2 days off per week Contract Length: Seasonal 6-12 months, March to October (dates can be flexible) The Role Your role will be an integral part to our kitchen teams. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas, as well as washing all dishes, pots, pans and other kitchenware to a high standard. Food deliveries will require your assistance in storing correctly. The role will require an organised individual to keep all areas clean and tidy, and health and safety rules to be adhered to at all times. You may occasioanally be required to assist with food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff. Please note: this position may involve standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects. Training will be provided for specific tasks and responsibilities. Our Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required Ability to handle and prepare food safely and hygienically, training will be provided if you do not hold the current necessary food hygiene certification.
