Our kitchen focuses on refined but approachable cooking, combining creativity with strong fundamentals and careful attention to detail.
Following a successful opening, we are now looking for a Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef to join our kitchen team.

About the Role As Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef , you will support the chefs with daily preparation, organisation, and service while developing your cooking skills in a structured kitchen.
This role is ideal for someone at the early stage of their kitchen career who is eager to learn and progress.
Salary: £24,000 per year (including service charge)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday & Monday off)
Key Responsibilities Assisting chefs with daily preparation and basic cooking tasks

Supporting the kitchen during service

Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen

Preparing ingredients and assisting with mise en place

Following food safety and hygiene standards

Helping with deliveries, storage, and stock rotation

Learning new skills and techniques from the senior kitchen team

What Were Looking For Some experience working in a kitchen (helpful but not essential)

Passion for food and interest in developing cooking skills

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to work well as part of a team

Good organisation and attention to detail

Positive attitude and reliability

What We Offer £24,000 per year (including service charge)

35 hours per week

Tuesday to Saturday schedule (Sunday & Monday off)
