Job Overview

This is a key role within the business looking after our pet specialty channel, with direct responsibility for our retailer relationships in wholesale and key accounts such as garden centres. The role also involves the light touch management of our experienced field sales team.


 Responsibilities:

·        Build upon the strong relationships we have with our wholesaler and pet speciality customers

·        Use your knowledge and experience of account management to scale sales significantly, launching regular NPD and taking responsibility for multiple P&Ls

·        Seek out new business and grow listings in current accounts

·        Plan and implement sales and marketing strategy across accounts

·        Pull together and negotiate Joint Business Plans

·        Manage our small field sales team and indirectly, our independent pet trade channel

·        Build key cross functional contacts, including supply, finance and marketing both internally and with our customers


 Experience:

·        Required: a minimum of 3 years in a similar role within FMCG or the pet industry

·        Desired: experience working with wholesalers and/or independent retailers
