Role Overview
The Key Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving growth within the UK Secondary Care environment, with a primary focus on expanding a portfolio centred on Allergy, ENT, Respiratory, and Immunotherapy treatments. This position is responsible for developing strategic partnerships across NHS stakeholders, accelerating adoption of innovative allergy solutions, and shaping the future of care pathways through strong commercial execution and collaborative leadership.
Operating as a true strategic partner, the KAM manages complex accounts, identifies new business opportunities, and leads the implementation of high‑impact projects that support the organisation’s ambition to transform allergy and respiratory care. Success in this role requires a blend of commercial acumen, clinical understanding, and the ability to influence across multi‑disciplinary teams.
The Role
- Manage and grow key secondary care accounts across South London
- Promote a portfolio of allergy therapies within allergy, ENT and respiratory pathways
- Build strong relationships with consultants, specialist nurses, pharmacists and key decision-makers
- Support local access discussions and demonstrate understanding of NHS structures and pathways
- Work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative UK commercial team
About You
- Proven pharmaceutical sales or key account management experience within Allergies, Respiratory, ENT or Immunology (excluding oncology)
- Experience or exposure to allergen immunotherapy is highly advantageous
- Secondary care sales experience preferred
- Understanding of market access principles and local formulary processes
- ABPI qualified
- Energetic, motivated and confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
