OverviewThe Opportunity We are looking for an ambitious, commercially driven leader to deliver budget‑beating growth in National Key Accounts. This role combines strategic account leadership with hands‑on team management and development, ensuring we deepen relationships, win new logo opportunities and deliver exceptional value to our Key Account customers. You will lead a team of National Key Account Managers and Commercial Managers, act as the primary point of contact for major customers and play a pivotal role in shaping our National Key Account strategy. You will also work alongside our European Key Account colleagues to mobilise and implement new logo wins.ResponsibilitiesDrive growth across your designated industry sectors, exceeding revenue and margin targets through securing new logos and the retention and growth in our existing business.Recruit, coach, and develop a high performing Key Account Management team, with clear development and succession plans.Identify and implement value‑adding initiatives that improve customer operations and strengthen long‑term partnerships.Contribute to the wider European Key Account strategy, supporting group‑wide growth objectives and maintain strong communication and alignment with the European Key Account team.Develop and execute market segmentation strategies to unlock new business opportunities.Secure site‑based services and Insite contracts to increase customer retention and underpin sustainable growth.Implement commercial best practice, fully utilising sales tools, technology, data, and our specialist business capabilities to enhance profitability, ensuring that cross functional teams work effectively together to accelerate our results.Deliver accurate forecasts and maintain a qualified credible sales pipeline of £30m+.Build and execute robust account development and retention plans.Collaborate closely with Regional Managing Directors, Area Directors, Regional Sales Directors, branch networks, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to improve customer service and operational delivery.Be the voice of the customer into the Rubix business.Essential Skills & ExperienceProven sales management experience within a complex, multi‑site or national environmentStrong customer focus, with the ability to build trust and long‑term partnershipsA challenger mindset, able to question, influence, and drive changeConfident leadership and communication skillsHigh sense of ownership and accountabilityAmbitious, creative, and motivated by growthDesirableExperience in developing market propositions and segmentation strategiesTalent management and team development expertise #J-18808-Ljbffr
