Karcher Branch Manager - Newcastle An excellent opportunity for an experienced sales manager based in Newcastle. This role is all about inspiring and leading a successful small team delivering high levels of customer service, sales and proactive sales activities. The role is full time and permanent offering a starting salary of £45,000, excellent annual bonus a company vehicle and the autonomy of running a branch delivering results on sales and profit.Key Accountabilities for the Karcher Branch Manager:Delivering commercial overall results for the branch to targets and cost controlDriving the business forward initiating sales activities to gain customer contactEngaging with customers in the field, developing new business opportunities and sales pipelineEnsuring consistent high standards across the showroom, workshop and warehouseDeveloping product knowledge across the team to become specialistsEngaging with customers, finding out their needs providing solutionsUndertaking site surveys, machine demonstrations, presenting proposalsDevelop local customer network collaborating with external sales teamsCreate marketing plans to develop sales, working with resources availableOverall management of stockEnsure all transactions are logged and reconciled monthlyEnsure all H&S standards are metRecruit new team membersDevise training plans for new startersConduct 121s, set goals with team membersLead, mentor and support the teamKey Skills Required for the Karcher Branch Manager:Successful face to face selling, possibly within a retail or B2B environmentCommercial approach can think strategically to drive the business forwardExperience in leading and developing a successful teamExperience of training and mentoring a dynamic sales teamHigh levels of customer serviceExcellent problem solving and negotiating skillsAbility to make presentations to key clientsStrong administration skills and time managementConfident communicator at all levelsAbility to establish and nurture client relationshipsHigh levels of own initiative, energy and driveFull UK driving licenceWhat's in it for you?You will receive a comprehensive induction plan to the company and role with plenty of support.
