MTrec Commercial are proudly representing our industry leading client on their search for a Junior Transport Planner to join their expanding team on a full-time permanent basis. This role is ideal for anyone who has studied within logistics or keen to start their career within this industry. No previous experience is required for this role as the client is proving full training of the role. The Role you will be doing;
To plan transport on a daily basis, booking in with customer where required
To book transport vehicles in the most cost-effective way whilst ensuring all deliveries hit all targets and timings agreed with the business and customer
To successfully communicate with all departments to ensure all information is clearly provided and all parties are aware of any challenges or issue
Required to maintain the highest level of quality and service with the ability to use their own initiative.
