This role offers a clear pathway into an external sales position, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop both technically and commercially within a growing business.Sitting at the intersection of engineering and sales, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive AHU selections and quotations across both new build and refurbishment projects. Working closely with external sales, operations, and suppliers, you will play a key role in developing solutions, supporting bids, and contributing to project success from initial enquiry through to order.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce detailed AHU selections and quotationsInterpret technical specifications, drawings, and tender documentsSupport the external sales team with technical and commercial inputLiaise with suppliers and internal teams to develop competitive solutionsAssist in delivering projects from enquiry through to order stageRequirementsEssentialStrong understanding of ventilation systems and AHUsProficiency in CAD for AHU layout/design Ability to interpret technical documentation and tender packagesGood commercial awareness alongside technical capabilityStrong communication and organisational skillsDesirableExperience with AHU/fan selection software (e.g. Ziehl)Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)Ambition to progress into a client-facing or external sales rolePackageBase salary circa £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)Performance-related bonusHybrid working optionsClear progression into external salesSupportive, collaborative working environmentInterested in hearing more?
