BLW Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly regarded Cambridge college to recruit a talented Junior Sous Chef.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious chef to step into a key role within a professional, well-structured kitchen, offering exposure to a wide range of dining—from student meals to formal events.

The Role

* Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations

* Supervise and develop junior team members

* Maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene

* Assist with menu planning, stock control, and ordering

* Lead the kitchen in the Sous Chef’s absence

About You

* Experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef (must be able to cook from scratch and have worked in a high volume environment)

* NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent)

* Level 2 Food Hygiene minimum

* Strong team player with a positive, proactive attitude

* Experience with overseeing junior chefs
