As Junior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping maintain high standards while developing your own leadership skills.
This is a varied operation with restaurant dining, resident guests, and private functions, making it an ideal role for an ambitious chef looking to broaden their experience.
You will be joining a passionate team who take pride in quality, consistency, and creating memorable dining experiences.
Duties:
Support senior chefs with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Work across all sections during prep and service
Help train and guide junior members of the brigade
Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards
Ensure hygiene, food safety, and organisation are kept to a high level
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Chef de Partie ready to step up, or an existing Junior Sous Chef looking to develop within a respected country house hotel.
