About the Role
This is a 4 month Fixed Term Contract.
Footballco is seeking a Junior Social Media Manager for INDIVISA on a 4-month fixed-term contract. Working within the Content team, the role focuses on day-to-day publishing on INDIVISA’s TikTok, Instagram and YouTube channels from February 1-May 31.
This is a hands-on content delivery role that requires strong copywriting skills, organisation, and familiarity with social platforms best practices. The role will be a mix of audience-led editorial content and partner-supporting branded content.
This role is ideal for someone with at least 18 months’ experience planning and publishing content on social media, and the ideal candidate would have credentials covering women’s football. Although we have offices in London and Leeds, this role is hybrid within the UK.
What you'll be doing:
- Daily social publishing, community management and audience engagement, supporting the INDIVISA lead in content rollout plans where applicable.
- Support on INDIVISA content ideation and ensure output is on-brand, innovative, and platform-native within any budget constraints.
- Write clear, accurate and engaging copy for social posts on INDIVISA social platforms that match the channel’s tone of voice and audience interests.
- Supporting in the delivery of a campaign for a commercial partner throughout the period, ensuring accurate tagging and messaging per brand guidelines.
- Assist in planning and scheduling content, ensuring output aligns with internal INDIVISA planner times/dates.
- Coordinate with Footballco internal teams (creative, design, production, post-production, etc) to ensure content plans are executed in the best possible way.
- Support on content ideation and ensure output is on-brand, innovative, and platform-native within budget constraints.
- Support INDIVISA lead in monitoring asset performance, analysing data and sharing actionable insights to refine future distribution.
- Absorb social trends, platform updates and emerging formats to keep INDIVISA leading the way with publishing around the women’s game in the UK on social.
- Work closely with the client services team to ensure accurate delivery of any commercial campaign assets.
- Willingness and availability to work around big women’s football moments and shoots, which may require evening and weekend work on occasion.
What you have:
- Minimum 18 months’ experience planning and publishing audience-driven content on social media channels, ideally focused on or crossing over into women’s football.
- Strong women’s football knowledge and confidence optimising copy to best engage female fans within the game’s UK audience.
- Confident publishing multimedia assets optimised on Instagram, TikTok and (to a lesser extent) YouTube.
- Experience working with commercial partners to deliver assets for social media platforms is not essential, though this would be an advantage.
- Great copywriting with attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience using platform analytics platforms to track and measure data.
- A collaborative attitude and excellent communication skills.
