Role Overview:

Robert Half is recruiting for a motivated and detail-focused Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team based in Yeadon. This is a permanent position offering a salary between £30,000 – £35,000, dependent on experience, with the role primarily office-based and occasional travel to sites across the UK.

As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key supporting role in delivering a range of exciting construction projects across multiple sectors. You will assist with valuations, procurement, and contract administration, gaining valuable experience while contributing to the smooth running of high-profile works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing interim valuations and payment applications.
• Support tender analysis and procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and variation records.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure effective project delivery.
• Contribute to cost monitoring and budget control processes.

About You:

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong general IT skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Eager to learn and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Confident communicator with good relationship-building skills.
