Job Title:Apprentice Paraplanner / Junior Paraplanner

Location:Worcester

Salary:£25,000 to £30,000 depending on qualifications and experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of client review packs for meetings
• Support the drafting of client reports and recommendation letters
• Prepare advice documentation, including application and nomination forms
• Submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to providers
• Process policy amendments and new business applications on internal systems
• Conduct research using a range of financial planning tools
• Submit new business and maintain accurate client records
• Provide general support to the technical/paraplanning team

What Were Looking For:

• Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• A genuine interest in financial planning and developing a career as a Paraplanner
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage workload efficiently

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience in financial services or an administrative role
• Awareness of financial planning processes and products
• Progress towards or interest in achieving the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning

Training & Development:

• Full support to achieve the Level 4 Paraplanner Apprenticeship Standard
• Funded Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS), including:
  • R01 Financial Services Regulation and Ethics
  • R02 Investment Principles and Risk
  • R03 Personal Taxation
  • R04 Pensions and Retirement Planning
  • R05 Financial Protection
  • R06 Financial Planning Practice
• Access to workshops, recorded sessions, and learning resources
• Ongoing support from experienced financial services professionals
• CII membership (where applicable)
