Junior Practice Assistant – Property
\n\nA leading London-based law firm is seeking a Junior Practice Assistant to join its highly regarded Property teams on a permanent, full-time basis. \n\nThe role
\n\nAs a Junior Practice Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to fee earners across Commercial Real Estate and Rural Property. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of matters, acting as a reliable point of contact for both clients and colleagues while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality and service.
\n\nKey responsibilities
\n\n- \n\t
- Providing proactive administrative and secretarial support to partners, associates and trainees \n\t
- Managing diaries, inboxes, meetings and internal systems to reflect availability accurately \n\t
- Producing, formatting and proofreading legal documents using firm templates and precedents \n\t
- Supporting file management in line with internal compliance and best practice standards \n\t
- Assisting with billing, finance processes, AML checks and file opening procedures \n\t
- Building strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and Business Services teams \n\t
- Taking initiative, anticipating needs and supporting the wider team during busy periods \n
The team
\n\nYou will support established and respected Property practices advising a diverse client base, including private individuals, institutional investors, landowners, charities and conservation bodies. The teams are known for delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines and for their collaborative, supportive culture.
\n\nSkills and experience
\n\n- \n\t
- Previous secretarial or administrative experience within a real estate or property team in a law firm is essential \n\t
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively \n\t
- High attention to detail with excellent written communication and proofreading skills \n\t
- A professional, flexible and proactive approach to work \n\t
- Confidence using legal IT systems and document management platforms \n
Working arrangements
\n\n- \n\t
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (9.30am – 5.30pm) \n\t
- London-based role with agile working, including a minimum office attendance requirement \n
