Team & Role Profile:
This is an entry-level position to join the Trading Operations team in charge of GCEX's trading and client operational processes. To improve processes and reduce risk, the team collaborates closely with Sales, Technology and Finance, as well as introducing and implementing new products and services. At all times we are focused on providing excellent customer service, offering client support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Responsibilities include:
Identifying and managing operational risks. Management of clients' day-to-day requirements. Support the daily processing and reconciliation of trades across multiple asset classes Assist in trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and lifecycle management Monitor and investigate trades Help maintain accurate position and P&L records Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives Maintain operational procedures and documentation
Skills Required:
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, including interfacing across all levels with vendors and clients. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to partner with colleagues across functions and lead effectively across geographical boundaries. Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail Interest in financial markets and trading Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
Basic understanding of financial markets or trading concepts is desirable Familiarity with trading systems or reconciliation tools is desirable Interest in pursuing further financial qualifications
