A global technology and manufacturing organisation is seeking a Junior Engineer to support Production and Production Engineering operations at its Worthing manufacturing facility.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and continuous improvement of premium audio products and manufacturing processes, supporting quality, delivery, and cost objectives within a safe and efficient production environment.
Job Overview
Support ongoing improvement of products and manufacturing processes to optimise Quality, Delivery, and Cost
Assist in maintaining factory plant, machinery, and equipment within the manufacturing facility
Develop practical engineering skills within a general workshop environment, following departmental training matrices
Contribute to engineering-based concepts and implement continual improvement solutions
Participate in projects, including definition and selection of new concepts, equipment, and automation technologies
Support installation of production equipment and tooling, ensuring processes are designed for manufacture and NPI
Conduct reactive and preventative maintenance activities as required, with support from the engineering team
