Junior Field Service Engineer

* Starting salary £33,000 to £35,000 + Car + Overtime – Huge earning potential over time.

* We are looking for a recent apprentice / Junior Engineer who is looking to develop as a Field Service Engineer within a growing machinery manufacturer

* Flexible on location within the UK – very little / no HQ visits required.

* Ideally you will have experience / qualifications in maintenance, mechanical or electrical engineering. Any exposure to CNC or machine tools would be an advantage.

* Any exposure or knowledge of CNC machinery or machine tools would be an advantage but not essential – there will be a very thorough training process.

* Someone with a professional, engaging attitude. Representing the company at customer sites.

* Electrical and Mechanical knowledge is required.

* You will need a UK driving license and be comfortable staying away from home.

* Machine tool fault diagnosis / fault finding and repair

* Machine installation and preventative maintenance.

* Working on machine tool equipment.

* Working environments can be somewhat challenging so you will need to be comfortable working within more adverse conditions.

* Travel throughout the UK & Europe to customer sites to work on machinery.
