Junior Electronics Technician
Location: York
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 DOE

The Role
We’re looking for a motivated Junior Electronics Technician to join the production team at the York site. You’ll work closely with the Production Manager, Test Engineer, and Apprentice in a hands-on role where you’ll be trained and supported as you develop your electronics skills.
This position is ideal for someone with a basic electronics background who is keen to learn, get stuck in, and grow into a more experienced technician role.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with PCB assembly and testing, ensuring boards function correctly Support the build of electronic assemblies, including wiring, plastics, and installation into metal housings Carry out basic fault finding and repairs with guidance from senior team members Help with testing and quality checks on completed products and returned rental equipment Work collaboratively with the team to meet production deadlines and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
A basic understanding of electronics and electronic assembly Some hands-on experience with soldering (through work, education, or hobbies) Willingness to learn fault finding and testing techniques A positive, practical attitude and good attention to detail Full UK driving licence (required due to site location) No degree required — enthusiasm and practical ability matter most
