Junior Childrenswear Designer Overview

We are looking for a Junior Designer to join the childrenswear team of this growing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented designer to support the design and development of trend-led, commercial kidswear collections across multiproduct categories.

Junior Childrenswear Designer Responsibilities

• Conduct research and support the development of seasonal kidswear collections, including trend, fabric, colour and silhouette direction.
• Assist the Senior Designer in creating technical drawings, CADs and presentation boards
• Support in product development, including fabric and trim sourcing and selection
• Prepare mood boards, design packs and presentations for meetings
• Identify emerging trends and help translate them into commercial viable designs
• Help manage and update tech packs and sample tracking
• Maintain and organise fabric, trim and sample libraries
• Assist in compiling and updating client presentations and portfolios

Junior Childrenswear Designer Skills and Experience

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with strong technical drawing and CAD skills
• Highly organised, with good attention to detail and time management skills
• A proactive, creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborate environment

This is a full time office based position. 25 days holiday + birthday off + excellent benefits.
