Salary: £16 per hour

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Joiner on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Hours will be variable between 32 – 48 hours per week as needed. Standard hours of work will be Monday – Friday 06:00 – 15:00 or 08:00 – 17:00, however flexibility to work overtime and or/ Saturdays as necessary is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Joiner:

Construct and assemble timber moulds and formwork used in the production of precast concrete products. Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and specifications to build accurate moulds and frameworks. Repair, maintain, and modify existing timber moulds and shuttering to ensure continued production efficiency. Cut, shape, and assemble timber and plywood components using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure moulds meet product specifications and quality standards. Carry out routine inspections of moulds and formwork to identify wear, damage, or required adjustments. Ensure all work is completed in line with company quality standards and production schedules.
