Overview
Trigon Recruitment is partnering with a respected national training provider to recruit a proactive and driven Employment Advisor.
In this rewarding role, you will support unemployed individuals referred by Jobcentre Plus, helping them move into sustainable employment across a range of sectors including retail, recruitment, customer service, warehousing, and hospitality.
You'll play a key part in transforming lives - building confidence, overcoming barriers, and equipping customers with the skills and motivation needed to secure meaningful employment. Whether supporting someone entering retail for the first time, transitioning careers, or progressing into long-term opportunities such as recruitment, you will guide them every step of the way.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a target-driven environment and is motivated by achieving results.

Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly job start targets and sustainable employment outcomes
Manage a varied caseload, delivering tailored 1:1 and group support
Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual barriers to employment
Develop and implement structured, goal-focused action plans
Coach and motivate customers to build confidence and employability skills
Support job search activities, including applications across multiple sectors
Prepare customers for interviews and selection processes
Create and enhance CVs, cover letters, and speculative applications
Complete benefit calculations where required
Signpost customers to appropriate external support services
Build and maintain strong relationships with employers to source vacancies
Accurately update internal systems and maintain compliance records
Skills & Experience
Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy and varied caseload
Target-driven with a strong focus on achieving KPIs and outcomes
Resilient, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure
Empathetic, supportive, and able to build strong relationships with customers
Confident engaging with employers across sectors such as retail, recruitment, and hospitality
Strong coaching and motivational skills to drive customer progression
