Gelder Group are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to head up the Insurance Repair and Renovation Department at their Head Office in Sturton by Stow. The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience in people/operations management and the construction industry. Experience in insurance work is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.Key responsibilities:Management of a large team including recruitment and appraisalManaging overall branch performance based on service level agreements including financial and customer satisfactionOperations management, ensuring the team operates to Gelder standardsOffer strategic direction to promote sustainable future growthDemonstrate a thorough understanding of Health & Safety legislationEnsure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.Personal specification:Strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead a large teamExceptional mentoring skills to develop talent within the organisationExcellent project management and organisational skillsA proven track record, in the construction industry, of delivering projects on time and within budgetHigh levels of confidentiality, credibility, and integrityGood interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with internal and external stakeholdersAdvanced mathematical and literacy skills, especially in business formats.The remuneration at Gelder is highly competitive with industry standards and the successful candidate can expect the below package:Competitive salary (subject to experience)Company car or payment in lieuCompany pension contributions24 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays.The Gelder Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
