Role Summary
We are a specialist Intellectual Property practice in Aberdeen and Glasgow, and we are looking for an ambitious, proactive IP Paralegal to join our team in Aberdeen. In a practice like ours, your impact is visible every day. You will work closely with our patent attorneys to protect the world-changing innovations developed by our local and international clients. This is an opportunity to become an IP expert and a key player in our firm’s successful practice.
Your Impact
- Portfolio Ownership: You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of patent rights, from initial filings to global renewals, ensuring our clients’ intellectual assets are secure.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as a primary point of contact for our diverse client base and our network of foreign associates, building lasting professional relationships.
- Strategic Support: Provide high-level substantive support to our attorney group, assisting with complex case management and docketing.
- Commercial Insight: Gain experience in the "business of law" by managing fee estimates and the billing cycle, playing a direct role in the firm’s financial health.
