Investment Project Manager

New Yesterday

Job Description

A growing investment and wealth manager seeks a project manager to continue to develop its product offering and capabilities.

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of creating, developing, and implementing investment capabilities and infrastructure. This includes ensuring our investment research recommendations and portfolio management processes are fully supported by robust, timely, and fit-for-purpose systems and processes.

Your portfolio will span multiple projects — from the design of new investment products to process enhancements — requiring you to define requirements, coordinate stakeholders, manage delivery, and maintain a disciplined approach to deadlines and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of new investment capabilities, products, and services, including segregated mandates.
  • Identify and implement improvements to product governance processes.
  • Manage communications with stakeholders, ensuring adequate governance arrangements.
  • Assess and report on critical risks related to research implementation processes.
  • Coordinate with the Change function to align resources, priorities, and timelines.
  • Work closely with other project and product teams to manage interdependencies and mitigate risks.
  • Support the Research leadership team on strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure project portfolio integrity and quality assurance standards are met.
  • Manage project and programme budgets, tracking costs against benefits.

What We’re Looking For

  • PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile ScrumMaster.
  • Significant experience in investment-focused project management.
  • CFA Charterholder or working towards full qualification.
  • Familiarity with data, digital, and risk management infrastructure.
  • Experience with FactSet, Bloomberg, proprietary data aggregator platforms, and FX hedging.
  • Knowledge of cloud data solutions (Snowflake), data tools (Alteryx, Power BI), and strong MS Office skills (Excel, Project).
  • Excellent organisational ability, attention to detail, and time management.
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset and proven track record of delivering projects on time and to target.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and lead teams.
