We're looking for a visionary leader to take charge of one of our London based client's housing investment strategy — someone who can turn opportunity into action, and ambition into sustainable homes.

As the Council’s Senior investment lead, you’ll be at the forefront of securing partnerships with major institutions to deliver innovative, long-term housing solutions — from affordable homes to temporary accommodation. You’ll drive an ambitious investment pipeline that supports strategic goals and puts people first.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the development and execution of cutting-edge housing investment strategies
• Forge partnerships with major investors and housing institutions
• Create compelling investment proposals and secure funding for key council projects
• Oversee land acquisitions and disposals linked to housing development
• Stay ahead of housing market trends to unlock emerging opportunities
• Ensure compliance and manage risk across all housing investment activity
• Collaborate across Council teams to align projects with wider strategic objectives
  

What you’ll bring:

• A track record in investment strategy, ideally in housing or regeneration
• Strong negotiation skills and experience securing large-scale investment deals
• Expertise in financial analysis and feasibility assessments
• A network of contacts in the investment and property sectors
• Strategic thinking and the ability to turn complex plans into tangible results
  

This role will offer up to £70,000 and will be an initial 2-year FTC.
