Intervention Tutor - What the Role Involves
- Delivering targeted small-group and 1-1 intervention sessions to support pupil attainment
- Supporting classroom teaching and learning across KS3, KS4, and Sixth Form where required
- Tracking pupil progress and adapting support strategies to meet individual needs
- Supporting pupils with SEN or additional learning needs within mainstream lessons
- Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams to ensure pupil engagement and achievement
Intervention Tutor - What the School is Looking For
The ideal Intervention Tutor will hold a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK University and have previous child-centred or education-based experience. The school seeks a proactive, compassionate, and motivated Intervention Tutor with strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to pupil development.

Intervention Tutor - Salary and Contract Info
- Academic Mentor and Intervention Tutor roles: £450-£530 per week, pro rata to term time only
- Contract: Full-time, long-term, term-time only
- Excellent opportunity to progress into teacher training or extended school contracts following a successful placement
