We are seeking a high-impact Intervention Teacher to join our specialist Alternative Provision in Burnley. This role is designed for a practitioner who thrives on seeing "lightbulb moments" in students who have struggled in mainstream education.
We welcome applications from both Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) and highly experienced Unqualified Teachers or Instructors with a specialist background in literacy, numeracy, or SEMH interventions.
The Role: What You'll Be Doing
Targeted Delivery: Planning and delivering 1-to-1 or small group interventions in Core Subjects (English/Maths). Bespoke Learning: Identifying specific learning gaps and creating tailored "catch-up" programmes for vulnerable learners. SEMH Integration: Using trauma-informed strategies to engage pupils who may have school-based anxiety or behavioural challenges. Data Tracking: Monitoring pupil progress closely and providing detailed reports to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and parents.
