We’re recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to join one of the South West’s leading suppliers of specialist metals and metal products. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong reputation and loyal customer base.

The Role

This is a varied role combining account management and business development. You’ll be managing existing customers while identifying new opportunities to grow revenue.

The role is mainly office-based and phone-led, with occasional customer and site visits.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Managing and developing existing customer accounts

* Building strong relationships and driving repeat business

* Identifying and winning new business opportunities

* Handling inbound enquiries and turning them into sales

* Providing tailored solutions across a wide product range

* Preparing quotes and closing deals

* Working towards achievable sales targets

What You’ll Be Selling

* Ferrous and non-ferrous metals

* Architectural and construction materials

* Cut-to-size and made-to-measure metal solutions

What We’re Looking For

* Experience in internal or external sales

* Background in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution sectors preferred

* Metals experience is a bonus—but not essential

* Confident communicator with a proactive approach

* Motivated, target-driven, and commercially aware
