The successful Internal Sales Executive / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer will manage customer inquiries and warm leads, generate quotations, assist with product selections, build relationships, and collaborate with teams to ensure timely delivery and post-sale support, all while identifying upselling and cross‑selling opportunities. The Internal Sales Executive / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer will have previous experience in sales or customer service, ideally within a technical or industrial sector, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage sales quotations, orders, and accounts. Responsibilities

Handle inbound customer enquiries and manage warm leads, ensuring customer requirements are met. Generate accurate quotations for industrial engineering products such as sensors, PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and switchgear, as well as process customer orders, and confirm product specifications. Assist customers with product selections and provide detailed information on product applications, ensuring suitability for customer needs. Develop and maintain relationships with industrial and wholesale customers, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling. Work with the engineering, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain a high standard of customer service. Provide post‑sale support to ensure continued customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements

Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, ideally within a technical or industrial sector. Experience within an engineering environment is advantageous, but not essential. Experience with sales quotations, order processing, and account management is beneficial. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Must be commutable to Stockport.
