Reporting directly to the Sales Office Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales strategy by managing existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and providing excellent customer service.What you'll be doingManage existing customer accounts to maximise sales and profitabilityOpen and develop new accounts with a focus on profitable growthEngage with customers via phone and face-to-face to process orders accurately using our CRM systemProvide quotes and maximise add-on sales opportunitiesProactively contact lapsed and potential new customers to generate salesWork closely with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfilmentSupport credit control and other internal departments as requiredAssist on the trade counter when neededPromote the full range of products across the groupWhat you’ll bringPrevious internal sales experience, ideally within construction distributionStrong communication and relationship-building skillsGood numeracy and IT skills, with attention to detailTarget-driven and proactive approach to salesWhat we offerGreat salary with annual pay award and staff recognition schemes25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
