We’re looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Internal Sales Executive (UK) to join our Sales team and play a key role in driving sales growth across a defined UK customer base. Hybrid position based out of either Wolverhampton (WV) or Westerham (TN).
This is a proactive, telephone‑based sales role focused on developing customer relationships, delivering confident product knowledge, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue across our full product portfolio. You’ll work closely with Specification Managers and the wider Sales team, using insight, structure, and strong communication to achieve agreed sales targets.

What You Will Be Responsible For
You’ll have ownership of a defined UK customer base, with the freedom to manage your activity and drive results.
Driving Sales & Customer Growth
Presenting Fortune Brands product propositions to customers within your assigned UK customer base
Developing strong, long‑term customer relationships to promote the full product portfolio
Identifying and converting growth opportunities through proactive account development
Clearly communicating quarterly promotions and commercial initiatives
Product Knowledge & Training
Delivering structured product training sessions to educate customers on features, benefits, and applications
Building strong knowledge across the full product range, including competitor and market awareness
Confidently positioning product advantages in a consultative, value‑led way
Sales Activity & CRM Management
Proactively managing sales activity using CRM systems (primarily HubSpot)
Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date customer records, contact matrices, and opportunity tracking
Managing your customer base efficiently in line with agreed call cycles and priority focus areas
Working closely with Specification Managers and the wider Internal Sales team to deliver revenue targets
Reporting performance against sales targets and KPIs, sharing insights on wins, challenges, and trends
Participating in quarterly Focus & Sales meetings
Supporting customer service‑related queries where required
Taking ownership for identifying issues, proposing solutions, and improving ways of working
Maintaining clear and accurate reporting on performance results and market insights
Undertaking other duties that reasonably fall within the scope of the role
For This Role We Would Need You To Demonstrate
You’ll be a confident communicator with a consultative sales mindset and a genuine interest in building customer relationships.
You’ll bring:
Strong telephone‑based sales capability, with a professional and engaging communication style
Proven experience in relationship‑building and consultative selling
Effective objection handling and negotiation skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to quickly learn and confidently present product features and benefits
Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot advantageous) and content tools such as Showpad
Strong planning and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
A results‑driven mindset, focused on achieving sales targets and KPIs
The ability to analyse performance data and clearly share insights
A proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn, adapt, and share knowledge
