Our client is looking for an Internal Sales Engineer with a background in electrical/ electronics based onsite in Chichester and will be responsible for delivery high quality service to customers and potential customers. The role focuses on maintaining and securing business for both projects and products through technical knowledge, accurate quotations and effective communication.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate technical and commercial aspects of sales enquiries
• Produce detail quotations for tenders
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations
• Work closely with internal engineering teams and external partners to prepare documentation and cost estimates
• Support the wider sales team in all sales related activities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Develop and maintain tools used by the Sales department
• Project manage orders with support from the commercial team
• Assist with daily sales enquiries
• Support the Commercial team with data entry (SOPs & POPs), customer/supplier liaison, contract reviews, and order-specific queries

What we're looking for

• Ideally HNC, Degree, or Postgraduate in Engineering or science related field
• Experience in electrical/ electronics or instrumentation
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Right to work in the UK
• Driving licence preferable
• Approachable with a strong work ethic
