Job Title: Internal Sales EngineerAs an Internal Sales Engineer you will support the sales team by handling customer enquiries, preparing quotations, and helping to secure orders. This role involves working closely with internal teams and customers to deliver the right solutions on time. Experience in a sales or technical role in engineering or manufacturing is desirable with the ability to read and understand technical drawings/specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer enquiries and confirm receiptUnderstand customer requirements, including technical specificationsWork with engineering, production, quality, and purchasing teamsPrepare and issue quotationsSource costs for materials, labour, and services when neededNegotiate prices, terms, and contracts with customersManage customer accounts or territoriesKey OutcomesEnquiries handled quickly and efficientlyCustomer deadlines consistently metSales and profit targets achievedStrong relationships built with customersClear communication with customers and internal teamsGood understanding of company processes and proceduresSkills & ExperienceQualifications (preferred but not essential):Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) or similarExperience (desirable):Sales or technical role in engineering or manufacturingKey Skills:Customer-focused with strong communication skillsAble to read and understand technical drawings/specificationsGood attention to detailCommercial awareness and negotiation skillsAble to manage workload and meet deadlinesBasic IT skills and experience with ERP systems (preferred)Personal AttributesWell organised and able to plan work effectivelyProblem solver with analytical thinkingSelf-motivated and proactiveTeam player with good collaboration skillsConfident communicator with a good telephone mannerFlexible and adaptableTo be considered for this role, please upload your CV or contact Naomi on 07506 949615.
