As the Internal Communications Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind internal messaging—developing creative approaches, writing compelling content, and managing multi-channel campaigns that reinforce culture and strategy. This is a standalone role for a proactive, hands-on communicator who thrives on autonomy and collaboration with senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver internal communication strategies that make complex information accessible and engaging.

Act as lead writer and editor for CEO updates, company announcements, newsletters, and intranet content.

Manage internal communication channels (SharePoint, Teams, Yammer, email platforms) and maintain the communications calendar.

Partner with HR and Marketing to ensure cultural and brand alignment across all messaging.

Support leadership communications with talking points, scripts, and presentation materials.

Internal Communications Manager Requirements

Essential:

Proven experience in internal or corporate communications within financial services or a regulated environment.

Strong writing and editing skills with ability to deliver high-impact content under tight deadlines.

Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and internal platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft 365).

Ability to work autonomously and engage senior stakeholders for strategic alignment.

Desirable:

Familiarity with analytics tools to measure engagement.

Creative approach to communication and content design.

Internal Communications Manager Benefits

Salary of circa £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience

Company benefits include: 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (this will increase with each year of service up to a maximum of 30 days), plus following successful completion of probation period: group life assurance (4 x basic annual salary), income protection, private medical insurance, healthcare cash plan, pension contributions and discretionary bonus scheme
