Where will you be working?

This role sits in our Corporate Affairs team, which looks after all internal and external communications for M Group. The team keeps our people informed about what’s happening across our Group, handles relationships with media and stakeholders, and manages our marketing and digital channels.

Please note that this role is offered on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract and is primarily home‑based, with occasional travel to our Head Office in Stevenage.

What you’ll be doing

This role supports the delivery of internal communications for the IT department, helping to build trust, support change, and encourage the adoption of new ways of working. Working closely with the Internal Communications Business Partner for IT, you’ll help bring the communications plan to life.

You’ll help tell IT’s story by turning complex technical topics into clear, engaging communications. A key focus will be ensuring messages are impactful, joined up, and contribute to an open, connected, one‑team culture.

Using a range of channels, you’ll support the delivery of messages in ways that best suit the audience and format, while looking for opportunities to do things differently. You’ll also help plan and deliver internal events, including departmental conferences.

Sitting within the wider Corporate Affairs team, you’ll support the Chief Technology Officer and senior leaders by helping manage timelines and deliverables and contributing confidently within a fast‑moving, complex environment.
