Our solutions create an enhanced tailored approach to support our clients in achieving their strategic goals and empower our people to make an impact and develop their own unique career path.The International Assurance Services team is looking for a Senior Consultant with specific experience of internal audit to join the team working on a range of clients including UK and international governments, donors, public sector bodies, charities and INGOs.What you’ll doBe a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude, collaborating, exchanging ideas and showing resilience.Successfully conduct assignments internationally, while being prepared to work away from home occasionally (≈10% of the time).Work with our public‑sector and not‑for‑profit clients both in the UK and overseas, adapting, proactively driving changes, and acting as a self‑starter. This may include secondment to a UK government department auditing major change programmes or auditing beneficiary data on a cash‑transfer programme for various economies.What we are looking forHere’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:IIA/ACA qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CMIIA, etc.).Fluent in a second language, preferably French, and able to conduct assignments in that language.Eligible to undergo UK Government security clearance.Robust post‑qualification experience.Level 7 education, ideally a master’s degree.Experience of internal audit essential in the UN or central government/public sector.Experience of fraud, procurement, donor grants or financial systems.Experience working in or with the international not‑for‑profit sectors.Willingness to undertake overseas travel (about 2–3 trips a year).Experience of institutional grant budget proposal development, compliance, monitoring and reporting.What we can offer youHybrid and flexible working.26 days annual leave (with the option of purchasing additional days).Lifestyle, health, and wellbeing benefits including financial wellbeing tools, electric‑car scheme and access to a virtual GP.Access to a suite of 300+ on‑demand courses developed by our in‑house talent development team.Diversity and Inclusion at RSM – we want to create a strong sense of belonging so that people of all identities, backgrounds, and cultures feel they can bring their true self to work.
