About the Role


Join a leading London insurer as an Internal Audit Delivery Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and executing internal audits across diverse operations. You’ll assess business processes, evaluate risks, and provide independent assurance on internal controls—helping drive efficiency and strengthen governance.

This is an end-to-end role, covering everything from planning and stakeholder engagement to testing, reporting, and committee updates. You’ll also contribute to strategic initiatives and deliver actionable recommendations that improve business processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audits from planning through to reporting and issue closure.
  • Oversee co-sourced partners and specialist audit services.
  • Collaborate with IT and data analytics teams to enhance audit delivery.
  • Conduct special projects addressing emerging risks.
  • Prepare Audit Committee reports and support governance activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in audit methodology and processes.


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in internal audit with a track record of delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of auditing concepts, internal controls, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., COSO, SOX).
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Insurance or reinsurance industry experience is highly advantageous.
