The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a forward-thinking consultancy. You’ll play a key role in the delivery of a diverse range of projects, taking ownership of cost management and contract administration tasks while mentoring junior team members.
The role offers autonomy, career development, and exposure to both pre- and post-contract work within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting across multiple projects Prepare and review Bills of Quantities, tender documentation, and procurement strategies Oversee contract administration, valuations, and final account settlements Lead client meetings and liaise with design and project teams Provide mentorship and guidance to Assistant QS team members Contribute to business development and client relationship management Essential Requirements
BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience within a consultancy or main contractor environment Strong technical knowledge of cost management and construction contracts Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills Ambition to progress professionally (RICS chartered or working towards chartership) Eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid UK driving licence Desirable
Experience in residential and mixed-use developments Proficiency in software such as CostX, Bluebeam, or MS Excel Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Why Join
