An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and reputable groundworks contractor in Sheffield.
The Role
Our client is recruiting for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with 3 - 5 + years of experience in the groundworks sector. This is a fantastic chance to further develop your QS career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
You'll be involved in a variety of residential groundwork projects, work is primarily office-based, with visits to project sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and reporting project costs and progress
Subcontractor procurement and management
Valuations and variations
Preparing and submitting accurate forecasts and cost reports
Supporting commercial strategy and delivery on a variety of groundwork packagesRequirements
Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
3-5 years' relevant experience, ideally in residential groundworks or civil engineering
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
