Intermediate Mechanical Estimator – Commercial Projects

An established M&E contractor in Central London is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Estimator to join their pre-construction team. You’ll be working on a range of exciting commercial projects, preparing competitive tenders and supporting the business’s growth in the thriving London market.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an estimator with a few years’ experience looking to take the next step in their career, gain exposure to diverse projects, and develop under the guidance of experienced senior estimators and management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare mechanical cost estimates and tender submissions for commercial projects

* Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate costings

* Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

* Prepare bills of quantities and schedule of rates

* Attend tender review meetings and present estimates to management

* Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to clarify scope and requirements

* Assist with value engineering and identify cost-saving opportunities

* Maintain accurate records and tender databases

About You:
