This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects while shaping the next of engineering talent\nThe successful candidate will:\n * Contribute to the preparation and presentation of technical evidence, calculations, and design support for healthcare specific building services systems.\n * Collaborate effectively with senior design team members.\n * Work closely with internal disciplines including mechanical, electrical, public health, and sustainability.\n * Mentor and guide junior/apprentice engineers within the design teams.\nWorking Conditions - Hybrid working (typical 3 days office , 2 days at home ) 37.5 contractual hours per week Monday - Friday\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Design of electrical systems, including design calculations, specifications & schedules and technical drawings\n * Initial technical review of electrical system designs and specifications, completed by junior team members\n * Assist in undertaking site surveys\n * Support senior team members on coordination with external design teams; architectural, structural, PQS, CDM, etc and internal team; CAD, Revit, electrical, public health, sustainability disciplines\nWhat we’re looking for:\n * Candidate is working towards HNC/Degree qualification OR Has proven experience working within Electrical Building Services\n * A desire to work towards professional engineering registration\n * A desire to work towards professional membership of relevant institute (CIBSE, IET, IHEEM)\n * Experienced in Electrical Engineering services systems designs across a range of building types.
