From power transformers to switchgear and engineering solutions, for , my client has stood for engineering excellence.\nThey are committed to supporting the global effort for industrial decarbonisation and sustainable development and have set ambitious objectives to achieve their target of net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. \nWhat's the role?\nMy client is a leading MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health) engineering design consultancy, delivering innovative solutions across complex building environments.\nThey are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to lead the development and implementation of compliant strategies within their projects. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects while shaping the next of engineering talent\nThe successful candidate will:\n * Contribute to the preparation and presentation of technical evidence, calculations, and design support for healthcare specific building services systems.\n * Collaborate effectively with senior design team members.\n * Work closely with internal disciplines including mechanical, electrical, public health, and sustainability.\n * Mentor and guide junior/apprentice engineers within the design teams.\nWorking Conditions - Hybrid working (typical 3 days office , 2 days at home ) 37.5 contractual hours per week Monday - Friday\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Design of electrical systems, including design calculations, specifications & schedules and technical drawings\n * Initial technical review of electrical system designs and specifications, completed by junior team members\n * Assist in undertaking site surveys\n * Support senior team members on coordination with external design teams; architectural, structural, PQS, CDM, etc and internal team; CAD, Revit, electrical, public health, sustainability disciplines\nWhat we’re looking for:\n * Candidate is working towards HNC/Degree qualification OR Has proven experience working within Electrical Building Services\n * A desire to work towards professional engineering registration\n * A desire to work towards professional membership of relevant institute (CIBSE, IET, IHEEM)\n * Experienced in Electrical Engineering services systems designs across a range of building types.
