Sales & Design Support Executive

Leyland (with occasional UK travel)

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and organised Sales & Design Support Executive to join our team. This is a varied role combining customer support, design, and operational coordination, ideal for someone with a passion for interior or furniture design who enjoys working in a fast paced, client focused environment.

You will support the sales team while also bringing ideas to life through design concepts, mood boards and layouts, working with clients ranging over a variety of client accounts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and process sales orders
  • Build strong relationships with clients and support new business activity
  • Create mood boards, layouts, and design concepts (CAD/SketchUp)
  • Support showroom presentation and client-facing design projects
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and occasional UK travel
  • Liaise with suppliers and support purchasing and stock coordination
  • Maintain CRM systems and provide general administrative support


About You

  • Passionate about interior or furniture design with a strong eye for detail
  • Creative thinker who can bring fresh ideas and “think outside the box”
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with a range of clients
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and commercially aware
  • Willing to travel, meet customers on site and attend trade shows


Skills & Experience

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Design / Interior Design / Creative field
  • Experience or strong interest in furniture or interior design
  • Familiarity with:
  • CAD/ SketchUp/ Corel Draw/ Cad Blocks
  • Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop)
  • MS Office (SAGE/CRM systems advantageous)
  • Chat GPT/ AI
  • Understanding of current design trends, materials, and finishes
