This is a hands-on, interim role where youll play a critical part in keeping production running efficiently, safely, and on schedule.If you thrive under pressure, enjoy solving problems in real time, and know how to get the best out of a teamthis is your opportunity to make a real difference from day one.What Youll Be DoingAs Shop Floor Supervisor, youll be responsible for the day-to-day management of production and people on the shop floor. Your focus will be on delivering against production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.Key responsibilities include:Leading and supporting production teams to meet daily targetsEnsuring all staff are equipped with correct kits, work orders, and SOPsDriving a safe, compliant, and high-performing work environmentManaging labour allocation to meet production demandsMonitoring productivity and ensuring teams are working to full efficiencyConducting stock checks and perpetual inventory (PI) activitiesEnsuring all products are correctly identified and located on the shop floorResponding to and escalating machinery or plant issuesChallenging non-conformance and implementing corrective actionsCollaborating with planning, maintenance, and other support functionsSupporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivityEnsuring internal delivery processes are followed to meet dispatch deadlinesWhat Were Looking ForThey need someone who can hit the ground running and lead with confidence.Essential experience:Proven track record in manufacturing supervision or managementExperience in high-volume production environments (automotive preferred)Key skills & attributes:Strong leadership with a lead by example mindsetExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsConfident communicator with the ability to influence and motivate teamsHighly organised with strong attention to detailFlexible, proactive, and able to adapt to changing prioritiesComfortable working with minimal supervisionComputer literateFull UK driving licenceWhy This Role?Immediate start with real responsibilityOpportunity to make a measurable impact in a short timeframeWork within a fast-paced, high-output manufacturing environmentGain valuable interim leadership experienceReady to step in and make an impact?Apply nowJBRP1_UKTJ
