The Interim Procurement Manager (Medical/Clinical) will play a pivotal role in overseeing procurement activities within the public sector. This temporary position requires strong expertise in Procurement to effectively meet organisational objectives.\n\nClient Details\n\nThis organisation is a well-established entity in the public sector, recognised for its commitment to excellence in procurement. As a mid-sized organisation, it operates with a focus on delivering efficient and compliant sourcing solutions.\n\nDescription\n\nLead and manage procurement strategies to achieve cost efficiencies and compliance.\nOversee supplier relationships to ensure quality and performance standards are met.\nDevelop and implement sourcing plans aligned with organisational goals.\nMonitor market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.\nEnsure adherence to public sector procurement regulations and policies.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfil procurement needs.\nProvide leadership and guidance to the procurement team to drive best practices.\nPrepare reports and present findings to senior management and relevant committees.Profile\n\nProven Public Sector procurement experience delivering complex procurement projects in line with The Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015)\nKnowledge of the Procurement Act 2023\nStrategic Sourcing and Category Management experience\nEffective project management and planning skills for complex procurement projects running concurrently\nA proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused mindset\nAccomplished user of e-Procurement systems, Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook \n\nJob Offer\n\nCompetitive daily rate between £400 and £600 (assessed at interview).\n6 Month contract, potential for extension
